Bottle Design

Hi there! Finally I'm writing a blog post again. This time it's about products development. In art class we first had to design a bottle label and then take product photos. If you just want to see the final result, you just have to scroll all the way down.

Minimalistic digital illustration

I drew this illustration in Procreate, my favorite drawing app. I used a photo as a template and then continued with a limited color palette and a hard airbrush. Finally, I gave the image a texture, for the final touch.

Floral Postcards

Start the sketch by drawing a circle. Then fill the circle with leaves, plants, flowers, text and anything else you would like to have in your illustration. Instead of filling the circle, you can also arrange the elements as a wreath.
Tip: Start with the largest elements and fill the empty spaces with a small, fine element at the end. For example, dots or single leaves.

Watercolour Plants

This is a simple idea for an illustration with watercolour. One possible approach would be:
1. Sketch
2. paint the background (here with a lot of water, for the grain)
3. draw the plants and the pots
It is easy to realise and is therefore not only for advanced artists but also for beginners.
My personal tipp for you is, to leave some small white spots in the pot, as highlights.

Be inspired!
