Before the course, I had drawn, printed and cut out various elements. These included horses, stables, foals, ponies, saddle blankets, riders and other horse-themed pieces.
The girls were free to choose as many as they liked, colour them in and later stick them onto their own landscapes.
On an A3 sheet, we created the backgrounds together. They told me what they wanted to include, I did the sketching, and they added the colours.

It worked really well and everyone had a great time. What I especially appreciate about this format is that the children can create their own worlds just as they imagine them. Thanks to the templates, it is suitable for all skill levels. The children also enjoy being able to arrange and glue the pieces themselves.
This would also be a lovely and easy idea for a children's birthday party. I would be so happy to run something like this for a birthday one day. If you are interested in the templates and would like to try it yourself, feel free to get in touch.
See you soon!
