Summer Collection

After the postcards in winter, it's now time for the summer collection. There is a short story behind every card and every illustration. Here you can read what they mean to me.
I would be delighted to hear from you what they mean to you too.

Best Friends

This illustration is supposed to portray a joy-filled moment between two friends. The scenery is inspired by the beautiful Lake Thun with the beautiful Swiss Alps. What could be better than spending a lovely day or weekend with friends somewhere in our beautiful country?
For me, this is also a heartfelt memory that I share with one of my best friends. Best wishes to her!

Build a boat

I drew this card inspired by Noah's story. He built a ship in the desert and trusted that God would send the water.
I think we should trust more often like Noah did. We should start building when we don't yet see the whole plan, knowing that God keeps his word and thinks further ahead than we ever could.
I hope this picture encourages you.

The surfer series

Summer invites us to get on and into the water. I love the water, but I don't surf myself. Nevertheless, I enjoyed drawing some surfer motifs. They are beautiful illustrations that I hope you can give as gifts to good friends and that can be used as decorations.
Perhaps there is something very personal that connects you with water, waves and surfing that gives this card a whole new meaning.

Deep Waters

A beautiful verse, and once again water. I love water, its versatility. And it inspired me to draw this somewhat abstract picture, which is supposed to represent a water surface.

I hope this design reminds you again and again that you are not going through the depths alone. Because God is with you, always.

Guard your heart

I love this verse, it says so much. And it's really important to me. It is so important that we take care of our heart, because it determines what we strive for, for what reasons we act, with what intentions.

I fell in love with the anatomical drawings. I love the style, which looks like it was drawn in pencil. It's been a while since I drew the heart. Then I came across this verse again and I knew I wanted to add to it.

The floral series

These cards are typically patterned with small floral elements or plant tendrils. The flowers themselves have no deep meaning. But I like the calm and sweetness of the patterns. And they are also cards that are great for sending or giving as gifts.

Love you. Mean it

There is actually nothing more to add. Because that is exactly what is meant, no more and no less. I love you. I mean it like that.
The illustration was inspired by a photo of a couple that I saw somewhere. I liked the colour combination and decided to print this illustration as well.

Make heaven crowded

This is a calling, a mission. Will you take it up?

The duo

Originally, this series was to include even more illustrations. In the end, however, it remained with these two. One on the theme of summer, a day at the beach. And the second, a brunch with friends, togetherness, living and enjoying friendship.

even if ... I believe

Even if ... I believe

This card is simple. But with a strong message. Anything can be placed in the gap. It is a reminder to believe, even if the circumstances are perhaps very difficult at the moment or we are not yet able to understand God's path.

Made in the image of God

This illustration was inspired by the idea of the Garden of Eden and the song "image of God" by we are the messengers. It is a reminder of who created us, the inspiration on which the Creator modelled us.

So God created mankind in his own image,
in the image of God he created them;
male and female he created them.
Genesis 1:27 NIV

Together

Simply a pretty illustration. A card with which you can say thank you to someone for your conversations, the bond or remind them of what you appreciate about them.

Oceans

Holding on to what I want to look forward to in stormy times. A promise to God that he can lead me out onto the water. I will follow.

Woman of God

A reminder that none of our worries will change anything in tomorrow. We are called to be women of God who trust that He will provide us with all we need.
