The Story Behind My First Market Stand

About two months ago, I was asked if I could imagine organising a stand at the GODI Conference 2024.
I thought about it a few times, but then I said yes. I went for it because this year I have set myself the goal of creating more freely from my own inspiration again. To draw outside of commissioned work and realise my own projects. I wanted my drawings to reflect more of what was on my mind.
And I was adventurous enough to realise this stand.

Then the preparations began. I knew I didn't really have any postcards with summer motifs yet and I had this idea with the T-shirts that I really wanted to realise before the conference. I didn't had much time to waste.
First I sketched a lot, collected ideas and then started to work them out. Due to time limits, I wasn't able to realise all of them, but that's okay.

Next, I thought about which designs I wanted to print as T-shirts. I had to adapt them a little and then everything went to print.

After that, we had to organise everything around the stand; packaging, labels, price lists, payment options, transport, hanging rails for the shirts, display options for the cards and so on. I am very grateful to all those who helped me in one or more areas with their ideas or lent me something.

This is what my stand looked like at the end.
A big and heartfelt thank you to all my helping hands!
