Last year, I was offered many opportunities and was able to accept my first illustration commissions.
But there is still soooo much to learn. I don't know if it's the same for all artists, but it always feels like you're still at the very beginning of your own artistic journey.
For the next few months, I've picked out a few things I want to work on. Some of them are specific skills that I want to work on, sometimes it's something that I still have to find out for myself how it works.

My Insta-Feed
My Instagram feed isn't bad or anything. I just think there's still a lot of potential. I want to somehow find a way to present my content, which is very diverse, from photography to fashion illustration to various other digital or analogue illustrations, in a uniform way. It's more difficult than I thought, but I'll keep trying and hopefully find a good way soon.
I think that could be a deciding factor for a bit more reach.
Signature
Far too often I forget the signature on the illustrations I post. And then I don't have a standardised one that I can put on it like a stamp. I'd like to decide on one for a recognition factor for my illustrations.
Portraits
As far as my drawing skills are concerned, I would like to improve my portrait skills in particular. I want to be able to draw more expressive faces for illustrations that tell even more of a story. Besides, I so rarely draw men and that's why I'm not very good at it. That's another thing I want to work on.

Colour Grading
I haven't been working with DaVinci for long. That's why I'm still pretty much at the beginning. But it's definitely an important point on my learning list that I want to get better at colour grading. I want to improve the quality of my videos and, above all, the colours.
Storytelling
Many of my illustrations are perhaps quite sweet. But I don't just want to draw something cute. My aim is to tell a story with my pictures, that my pictures evoke something in those who look at them.
This is much easier for me with pictures in which I draw my own memories. That's why I practise not only drawing pictures that I like, but also thinking more about what I actually want to tell with this drawing.
